pascal-bernardon-M9usxq3uBUE-unsplash.jpgIs my stomach too big,

Or my butt too small?

Is my skin too flawed,

Or am I too tall?

Are they shaking their heads

When I wear a short dress?

And when I rock sweats,

Do they think I’m a mess?

Where is he looking?

At my eyes or my chest?

When they call in the street,

Should I just let it rest?

Will he tell me “Be nice”

If I lay down the law?

Does he find strength annoying

Just cause I wear a bra?

When I’m better than him,

Is he intimidated?

When I don’t limit myself,

Will he get aggravated?

If I tell him the truth,

Will he tell me to smile?

Do my brains really matter,

Or just my hair style?

Will I ever get tired

Of being a sweet, good girl?

Yeah, I already have,

And I’m telling the world.
