I remember roses you give every year.

It’s the little things that truly touch my heart.

I remember how I never had to fear,

And I wished that we would never have to part.

 

I remember icecream at the perfect time,

When you took me out to my favorite place.

I remember how I smile when your words rhyme,

And the hugs that dried up raindrops on my face.

 

I remember all the camping trips we took,

How we hiked and looked at mountains’ silhouette.

I remember fishing, sitting with my book.

I remember, and I will never forget.
