I choose what I do carefully,

But I always give one-hundred percent.

I can walk pretty well,

But my knee’s a little bent.

No matter what happens,

I always can see:

Wherever I am,

Whatever I am,

Whoever I am,

I’m me.

I want to travel every land,

But I love my little room.

I don’t accept what people tell me.

I’ll be disputing in my tomb.

Even if some things will not

This always will be:

Wherever I am,

Whatever I am,

Whoever I am,

I’m me.

I want to be on time,

But I’m always running late.

I’ll spend ages on a project.

But the result’s always first-rate.

And though sometimes I’m strict,

And sometimes I’m carefree:

Wherever I am,

Whatever I am,

Whoever I am,

I’m me.

I love to meet new people,

But inside I’m really shy.

I don’t often sob in movies.

But the sunset makes me cry.

And I hope if folks say nothing else,

They say this about me:

Wherever she is,

Whatever she is,

Whoever she is,

She’s she.
